Why this Easter bunny craft is great for kids

  • Very easy and toddler-friendly

  • No elastic needed, making it safer and simpler

  • Great for Easter activities at home or in classrooms

  • Encourages creativity and imaginative play

  • Uses basic craft supplies

What you need

  • White card or paper (or printed designs from the Full Easter Bunny-dle)

  • Child-safe scissors

  • Glue or tape

  • Markers, crayons, or coloured pencils

  • A lolly stick or craft stick

1. Cut out the bunny face

Cut a big oval shape from white paper to make the bunny’s face. It does not need to be perfect—every bunny can look a little different.

2. Draw the face

Draw two eyes, a small nose, and a smiling mouth. You can add rosy cheeks and big bunny teeth to make it fun.

3. Make the ears

Cut two long oval shapes for the ears. If you have pink paper, cut smaller ovals and stick them inside. If not, colour the inside pink. Glue the ears to the top of the bunny’s head.

4. Add the stick

Turn your mask over. Glue or tape a lolly stick to the bottom centre of the mask. Make sure part of the stick sticks out so you can hold it easily. Let it dry so it stays in place.

Time to play

Hold your bunny mask in front of your face and start playing. You can hop around, pretend to be the Easter bunny, or use it for Easter parties and storytelling.
