See Me In Full Colour

Hello, I’m Tania Buchanan, the (only) person behind Technicolour Corner.

Technicolour Corner started in a very simple way. My sister works with a nursery group and was finding it difficult to get colouring pages and activities that reflected the different cultures and celebrations of the children in her care. Many resources focused on the same few holidays, while some that were important to the children in her group were much harder to find.

I thought it might be fun to try making some ourselves so the children could see their own celebrations represented as well.

What started as a small idea to help my sister quickly became something I genuinely enjoyed doing. I began creating colouring pages and simple activities that introduced children and toddlers to different cultures and traditions in a way that felt playful, creative and easy to understand.

Along the way I discovered that I really loved designing digital downloads and coming up with craft ideas that families, nurseries and educators could use with young children. Seeing kids learn through colouring, cutting, sticking and exploring new traditions has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

Technicolour Corner has grown from that first idea into a space where I create colourful, creative resources designed to help children explore the world around them. The aim has always been to keep things fun while helping children learn about different cultures and celebrations so that everyone can feel included.

What began as a way to help my sister’s nursery group has turned into something much bigger, and I’m very grateful to everyone who has supported Technicolour Corner along the way.
