You will need
- Green paper
- Scissors
- Glue or tape (optional for connecting ends)
Steps
- Cut a Long Strip of Paper
- Use green paper and cut a strip about 4–5 cm wide and 20–30 cm long.
- Longer strips make a longer accordion chain.
- Fold the Strip
- Fold the paper back and forth like an accordion (each fold about 4–5 cm).
- Draw Half a Shamrock
- On the top fold, draw half of a shamrock shape along the folded edge (so the fold becomes the centre line).
- Cut Out the Shamrock
- Carefully cut along the outline, keeping the folded edge intact.
- Unfold
- Open the accordion to reveal a chain of connected shamrocks!
- Optional Decoration
- Use pens, stickers, or glitter to add details to the shamrocks.
- Display
- Hang it on a wall, across a window, or use as a table decoration for St Patrick’s Day.
